Abstract

Наведено огляд публікацій, у яких досліджено особливості функціонування гармонік у різних сферах американської культури. Розглянуто історико-культурні передумови та соціокультурні чинники розвитку виконавства на гармоніках у музичній культурі США. Виявлено оригінальність американської термінології народного та професійного академічного інструменталізму. Проаналізовано історичну динаміку виконавства на губних та ручних гармоніках в американській музичній культурі першої половини ХХ ст. Висвітлено внесок відомих музикантів у розвиток мистецтва гри на харпах та акордеонах.The review of publications is presented, in which the features of the harmonica functioning in the various fields of the American culture are studied. The historicaland-cultural preconditions and social-and-cultural factors of development of harmonica performance in the American music culture are discussed. The distinction of the American terminology of the folk and professional academic instrumentalism is revealed. The historical dynamics of playing the mouth and hand harmonicas in the American music culture of the first half of the twentieth century is analyzed. The contribution of the well-known musicians to the development of the art of playing the harps and accordions is highlighted.
