Вплив меценатства як форми благодійності на розвиток стародавніх культур

Abstract

Досліджуються генезис і розвиток благодійності в стародавніх культурах, аргументуються зародження й оформлення складових інституту меценатства під впливом економічних і соціально-політичних умов. Аналізується внесок протомеценатів у розвиток стародавніх культур. Акцентується на виникненні писемності, яка зумовила текстову діяльність і створення перших бібліотек. Доводиться, що саме тут уперше почали збирати та зберігати стародавні тексти.This paper explores the genesis and development of philanthropy in ancient cultures, and discusses the origin and forming of the main components of institute of philanthropy under the influence of economic and social and political conditions. The author shows the influence of philanthropists on the development of ancient cultures. Attention is focused on the emergence of writing that caused text activity as a new social practice, and the rise of the first libraries. The author proves that it is in the early libraries that ancient texts were originally collected and preserved.
