Український танцювальний фольклор та сучасний балет: культурологічне осмислення інтегративних процесів

Abstract

Проаналізовано інтегративні процеси між українським танцювальним фольклором та сучасним балетом. З’ясовано шляхи, що сприяють взаємопроникненню балетної та фольклорної танцювальної хореографії. Запропоновано авторське бачення культурних основ інтеграційних процесів між сучасним балетом і фольклорним танцем.

The time we are living in today can be considered special and unique. The uniqueness lies in the fact that in the most difficult conditions – in conditions of war, occupation, emigration - the Ukrainian people are finally beginning to realize their separateness, historical and cultural value and to wake up to the longstanding deliberate levelling of national identity within the idea of "three fraternal peoples". The search for identity always begins with the study of one's genetic characteristics, national cultural heritage, traditions, etc. Today, we are witnessing a real awakening of the Ukrainian nation, real in essence, not in form. Dance is an integral element of any folk culture and is now becoming an identifier of nationality and involvement in a particular cultural tradition. It should be noted that dance is a figurative comprehension of reality, a means of assimilating socio-cultural experience, and a national symbolic world. Of particular interest, given the socio-political and national-cultural processes, is the integration of dance genres that are too different in origin, choreography, and musical features into a single whole. This interest is not only purely artistic. We are interested in the cultural and national background of such integration processes.
