Роль та місце комічної маски-образу в масових формах сценічного мистецтва

Abstract

The aim of the article is to consider the role of a comic mask-character in creating a festive and laughter atmosphere of the dramatic art. Research methodology. The study is based on the culturological approach, the axiological approach, the descriptive method, the comparative analysis method and the generalization method. Results. A comic mask-character is the instrument of developing artistic ideas, by the art of improvisation as the greatest level in theatrics, by the means of expressiveness. Its main features are canonical invariability in different circumstances. A mask must have bright characteristic and external expressiveness. Typical masks-characters in the Ukrainian festive and laughter culture are Zaporozhian Cossack, trouble-maker-bursa, animals (wolf with a fox), infernal creatures (demon). Novelty. The place and role of a comic mask-character in mass forms of dramatic art are identified. The author has formulated theoretical understanding and practical generalization of the phenomenon of a mask-character and specified its artistic and creative potential of festive and laughter culture of Ukraine. The practical significance. The obtained results make it possible to follow up the directions for future research in the field of the festive and laughter culture drawing on the example of modern art practices.

Розглянуто комічну маску-образ, яка є інструментом розвитку художніх ідей, мистецтвом імпровізації як найвищого рівня в сценічному мистецтві, засобом виразності. Головні її особливості — канонічність, незмінність у різних обставинах. Проаналізовано історію комічної маски (від давньогрецької та давньоримської комедій, творчості скоморохів, дель арте). У зв’язку з поняттям трикстера підсумовано, що комічна маска — це шаржоване, гіперболізоване зображення персонажа, остаточне умовне ствердження нової дійсності. Означено стилістику масових свят України, постановчі прийоми українських свят.
