Інтерактивна режисура: іммерсивні формати як новий тип театрального впливу на глядача

Abstract

У статті досліджено інтерактивну режисуру як актуальне явище сучасного театру, що формується в межах імерсивних форматів і сутнісно переосмислює традиційну парадигму сценічного мистецтва. Інтерактивна режисура постає як методологія, що фокусує увагу не лише на художньому продукті, а й на глядацькому досвіді як автономному елементі вистави. Особливу увагу приділено аналізу імерсивного театру як інструменту трансформації театральної комунікації: від вертикальної моделі «сцена – зал» до горизонтальної взаємодії, де глядач виступає повноправним учасником події. Розкрито ключові ознаки імерсивних форматів – мультисенсорність, креативна інтерпретація простору, деконструкція межі між сценічним і позасценічним, інтеграція глядача в сюжет як носія наративу. Проаналізовано вплив імерсивних стратегій на зміну ролі режисера – від позиції автора до функції куратора, модератора досвіду і архітектора просторової взаємодії. Визначено перспективи розвитку імерсивного театру в умовах цифрової культури, зокрема через VR, AR, гейміфікацію та змішану реальність. Також окреслено напрямки інституційної інтеграції таких форматів у практику культурно-досугових установ. Перспективними напрямками подальших досліджень є вивчення етичних меж глядацької участі, аналіз гібридних форм та їх впливу на структуру вистави. Особливу увагу варто приділити методам адаптації імерсивного підходу в різних культурних контекстах. Актуальним є також розгляд цифрових технологій як складової імерсивного простору. Необхідно розробити теоретичні моделі опису взаємодії між глядачем і простором події. Подальше дослідження сприятиме глибшому розумінню нових форматів театрального впливу.

The article explores interactive directing as a current phenomenon of contemporary theatre, shaped within immersive formats and fundamentally rethinking the traditional paradigm of stage art. Interactive directing is conceptualized as a methodology that shifts the focus from the artistic product to the spectator's experience as an autonomous component of the performance. Special attention is given to immersive theatre as a tool for transforming theatrical communication – from the vertical model of "stage–audience" to a horizontal interaction, where the viewer becomes a full-fledged participant in the event. The key characteristics of immersive formats are revealed, including multisensory engagement, creative spatial interpretation, the deconstruction of boundaries between stage and off-stage, and the integration of the viewer into the narrative as a carrier of meaning. The impact of immersive strategies on the transformation of the director’s role is analyzed – from the position of author to that of curator, experience moderator, and architect of spatial interaction. The article outlines the prospects for the development of immersive theatre in the context of digital culture, particularly through VR, AR, gamification, and mixed reality, and maps out directions for institutional integration of such formats into the practices of cultural and leisure institutions. Further research directions are proposed in the domains of audience interaction ethics, cultural adaptation of immersive experience, and the need to elaborate terminological and methodological tools for analyzing interactive formats in directing. The results of the study will be useful to directors, theatre scholars, cultural managers, and educators in the performing arts who are interested in innovative theatrical formats. The research expands the understanding of audience engagement in the artistic process and highlights the significance of immersive strategies in contemporary theatre. Promising directions for future research include the study of ethical boundaries of audience involvement, analysis of hybrid forms and their influence on performance structure. Particular attention should be paid to methods for adapting immersive approaches across different cultural contexts. It is also relevant to consider digital technologies as an integral part of the immersive environment. The development of theoretical models describing the interaction between the spectator and the performative space is essential. Further research will contribute to a deeper understanding of new formats of theatrical impact.
