Тема людської долі в етичній філософії Сенеки

Abstract

Зазначено, що, згідно із Сенекою, дії долі (фортуни) ірраціональні, а люди, перебуваючи під її впливом, поводять себе алогічно. Оскільки останнє зумовлене недосконалістю людської душі, її необхідно, на думку філософа, підпорядкувати владі розуму: приборкувати свавілля, спрямовувати зусилля на мінімізацію злодіянь, творіння добра, жити в злагоді з природою, мужньо сприймати удари долі, стійко зносити життєві випробування.It is noted that, according to Seneca, the effects of fate (fortune) are irrational, people, being under its influence, behave illogically. As far as this is caused by the imperfection of the human soul, it is necessary, according to the philosopher, to subordinate it to the power of reason: to control self-will, to direct efforts to minimize atrocities, to create good, to live in harmony with nature, to bravely face the blows of fortune, to endure the trials of life.
