Символи колективного несвідомого в культурі усної традиції

Abstract

Проаналізовано публікації, у яких досліджено символіку традиційної культури. Виявлено проблеми щодо осмислення ритуалу як символічної форми поведінки. Запропоновано новий підхід у дослідженні символів традиційної культури. З’ясовано, що поняття «колективні уявлення» Л. Леві-Брюля та «колективне несвідоме» К. Г. Юнга є важливими інструментами в з’ясуванні сутності символіки традиційної культури. Застосовано положення концепції К. Г. Юнга про колективне несвідоме для пояснення сутності символіки традиційної культури. Виявлено систему символічних форм зовнішньої та внутрішньої поведінки, значення символу кола в традиційній культурі. З’ясовано, що символи традиційної культури є проекцією на зовнішній світ архетипального образу колективного несвідомого.

This paper presents a review of the publications that are concerned with the study of the symbolism of traditional culture. The author reveals the issues in understanding the ritual as a symbolic form of behaviour. This paper proposes a new approach to the study of the symbols of traditional culture. The author demonstrates the importance of the terms “collective representations” by Lucien Levy-Bruhl and “collective unconscious” by Carl Gustav Jung as the tools in the knowledge of the essence of the symbolism of traditional culture. The article applies the provisions of C. G. Jung’s concept on the collective unconscious for explaining the essence of the symbolism of traditional culture. The author unfolds the system of symbolic forms of external and internal behaviour in traditional culture. The author identifies the significance of the symbol of a circle in the phenomena of traditional culture. It is determined that the symbols of traditional culture are a projection on the external world of the archetypal image of the collective unconscious.
