Медіаосвіта як складова вищої освіти для інноваційного розвитку України

Abstract

Медіаосвіта у вищий школі в публікації розглядається переважно як особливий напрям розвитку особистості, спрямований на формування медіакультури – структурного компоненту інформаційної культури людини ХХІ століття. За умови зростаючого впливу ЗМК на процес соціалізації, навіть медіаграмотність стає запобіжним чинником маніпулювання (політичного, економічного, кримінального тощо), профілактикою інформаційного рабства (особливо в період поширення гібридних війн), певним захистом майбутніх фахівців від переважно стихійної кіберсоціалізації. В Україні поширенню цієї складової вищої освіти заважають серед іншого: відсутність наступності медіаосвіти в загальноосвітній та вищий школі; непоширеність програм підвищення кваліфікації науково-педагогічних працівників щодо медійної культури, впровадження освітніх мультимедійних технологій; відсутність інформаційних (або медіа) центрів у ВНЗ; недостатня забезпеченість ВНЗ технікою (мультимедійними проекторами, дошками тощо) для вільного доступу до неї викладачів та студентів.

Mediaeducation in higher education is viewed as education of future media specialists, as specific multimedia technologies for training any highlevel specialists and as a distinct branch of personal development that is inherent to information society, and is aimed at forming mediaculture – a attention is paid to the lattermost aspect, as the influence of mass communication means on socialization increases and medialiteracy becomes the way to prevent manipulation (political, economical, criminal etc.), avoid informational dependence, especially in hybrid warfare. Importance of Internet makes forming virtual competence in higher education more significant, as it serves as a safeguard for specialists in mostly chaotic cybersocialization. However informational (mainly media) culture of these specialists must include the elements of professional education of future media users and get improved through pedagogical multimedia technologies in the field, for within the cyberspace of information society “everyone” doesn’t only get influenced by media, but also influences “everybody” with personal media texts, namely professional ones. Obviously, increasing the number of high-quality generallyavailable professional information will ensure innovational development of the state that creates opportunities to implement mediaeducation into higher education. We believe that in Ukraine these opportunities are obstructed, among other things, by the absence of mediaeducation that would link elementary and higher education institutions, by the lack of curriculum for training specialists in the field of media-culture and implementation of educational multimedia technologies, as well as by the economic hardships that prevent university libraries from turning into informational (or media) centers that accumulate professional knowledge in any form and by the shortage of hardware (multimedia projectors, boards etc.) that would be free for techers and students to use.
