According to the history of the development of international Standard dance in China, we can divide this process into two stages: the first stage is the competitive development stage that draws lessons from the western international standard dance model; the second stage is the stage of artistic development, which takes Latin dance and Modern dance as the dance vocabulary and integrates other dance arts on the basis. In recent years, ballroom dancing has developed rapidly in higher education.
